Participants who are staying on for the ECO-TECH Network Exchange will have the opportunity to register at Signals (at Roots)


12.00 - 13.30 | FUTURE PHYSICAL COMMISSIONED WORKS
firstsite gallery
This could be a good time for you to visit the Future Physical Commissioned Works and the Generator Exhibition that are being shown at firstsite gallery. There will also be an opportunity to view the works later in the day after the mayor's reception.
firstsite gallery will be open until 20.00.

13.30 - 15.00 | PUBLIC DISCUSSION FORUM
Colchester Town Hall - Moot Hall

The last day of the Bio-Tech InterChange will include an open access session. This session will have an audience of invited guests and general public. It will provide the InterChange group with the opportunity to present ideas in progress and conclusions to a wider audience and will also open out the debate for public questions and answers. This will be led by Ghislaine Boddington and the BIO-TECH mentors with input from the whole BIO-TECH group.


15.00 - 16.00 | MAYORS RECEPTION
Colchester Town Hall - Mayors Parlour

The Mayor of Colchester will welcome the BIO and ECO-TECH Network Exchange participants and International artists and will celebrate the Future Physical programme.


16.30 - 17.30 | ECO-TECH KEYNOTE SPEECH - MASAKI FUJIHATA
Colchester Town Hall - Mayors Parlour

The keynote speech by Japanese new media artist Masaki Fujihata expresses a Japanese view of nature and explores technology as a mirror of self-reflection.

18.00 - 20.00 | DRINKS RECEPTION
firstsite gallery
Drinks reception at firstsite gallery to promote the Future Physical Commissions including the launch of the 'Shock' flipbook from commissioned artist Phillip Warnell. This will provide you with another chance to view the Commissioned works if you couldn't earlier.
