'Texterritory inadvertently placed the audience in the role of a performer and questioned the audience's role within a responsive performance space. Would the audience identify as a group? Did an audience feel comfortable with this new-found power? Would it have preferred to remain anonymous? What was the scope for decision-making within the performance? The aim was to create an audience dynamic that would bring about an original outcome in terms of their experience. Texterritory's structures held keys to further understanding opinions and desires. It did not end with the “event” – in fact this was just the beginning.'
