‘The selection for the WEAR ME exhibition was made on the basis that it was expected that the audience would be largely uninformed about the area of wearable technology and interactivity. We wanted to stay clear of the sci-fi aesthetic in the clothing, and wanted garments that looked like clothes you might be interested in buying. If this exhibition was to advance public understanding of this area, then we wanted to show desirable things as well as the more artistic or functional.'
